Should I go for Samsung Galaxy Ace 5830 or Samsung I9003 Super clear LCD or any other?
Q. Dear Friends,
I want to buy an android smartphone within the 20K budget. Within my budget i found samsung galaxy Ace (approx 15K) and I9003 Super Clear LCD(approx 20K).
There are so many phones available in the market within this price range i am confused which one is good value for money. My primary requirement is 2.5-4inch screen, good ram, good processor,3G, etc
Can someone suggest me the right phone who are using above mentioned devices.
You could also suggest other brand like HTC phone within this range.
Thanks
A. If your budget is 20k then you should definitely go for Samsung Galaxy SL-9003. Its a bit toned down version of Samsung Galaxy S 9000 and has a Super LCD in place of AMOLED screen. despite this major change Galaxy SL is still a value buy for 20k. On the other hand galaxy Ace is also a good phone but not comparable to Galaxy SL. Ace has a weaker processor of 800 MHz as compared to Sl`s 1 GHz and has a smaller screen of 3.5 inch as compared to Sl`s 4 inch. At 15k Ace is also a good smart phone. But, if you want to spend 20k for a phone then Galaxy SL is worth that much money. Infact, with a bit of market survey you can get Galaxy SL for as much as 18,500/-. For starters, you can compare the prices on www.mysmartprice.com. If you are ok with stretching your budget with 2-3k, then you can also check out HTC Desire.
I have lost my mobile phone?
Q. Hi
I have lost my mobile phone..My phone was Samsung Galaxy Ace ST 5830..
I heard this model has a speacial feature which let you track your mobile .
but I dont know how to use this feature..
I reported the incident to the police.they asked my IMEI NO and invoice..
so the police said they will use IMEI NO to find it but I also would like to use the track program on samsung if there is..
A. there are several ways to track a lost or stolen smartphone. you can "plan ahead" and install an app such as my lookout to locate your device via gps, or register you device with asurion. however in your case this isnt very helpful. but all hope is not lost, as long as your phone has a charge, you can remotely install an app called plan b from lookout mobile security for free, from a laptop/pc/tablet..etc and once remotely installed you can then receive several email alerts stating closer and closer coordinates of your device. i have tested it on my phone, it was accurate within 3 meters, very impressive. i would like to add that i know most android users have a gmail account linked with their phones, and if your phone is not locked, the person with your phone may be able to access the emails being sent to the phone and realize hey they are tracking this, and pull the battery out. also this app allows you to send a text with the word locate to your phone and it will email you the gps coordinates. again, if the phone is not locked, that could be bad. i know there are several similar apps that can be remotely installed after the fact on the market, i just know plan b is a really good one. but hey chances of you finding it are pretty good considering the police and the technology available for you device. good luck and let us know in the additional comments if you found it.
