Q. I work in a hospital and most of the time when I have to go to one of the medical office buildings on the other side of the hospital I have to walk through the radiology department. I just got a smart phone recently which is the samsung galaxy victory and I walked through the radiology department yesterday with it in my pocket. The radiology department had cat scans mri machines pet scans and regular x rays machines all in there next to each other. After getting off of work my phone started to act weird and it doesn't want to load web pages or Facebook at all. It also had problems sending texts and recieving calls too and I had to get my phone replaced after only having it for five days. I am wondering if those x ray imaging machines is what damaged my phone. Is it possible that those x ray machines damaged my cell phone ?
A. X-ray radiation (as well as pretty much all ionizing radiation) can indeed cause problems with cell phones, to the extent of memory loss and possible circuit damage.
The thing is that the phone has to be exposed to the ionizing flux at a fairly high level to cause damage. If the phone is left in relatively low shielded areas, then said damage could be attributed to ionizing radiation exposure.
That said, I doubt that damage would occur from casually walking by the radiology department.
Pandora will not play in rear speakers only front?
Q. Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Victory 4 G phone and a Kenwood KDC 652u deck. I have the blue tooth running from the phone to the deck and the deck is Pandoa compatible . The deck will play cd's and radio in all 4 speakers but once Pandora is played it will only play in the two front speakers . Ill fade the speakers to the rear while Pandora is being played and no sound at all. So I dont know whats up any help?
A. If you play an MP3 song on your phone and transmit to the Kenwood via Bluetooth, do the rear speakers play?
Is anyone else having an issue recording video on instagram?
Q. When I let go of the red button it erases the video I just took n acts like if I never took it. Then when I press the next button it says I need to record a video first. It's not that the video is too short because I'll record a 15 second video n the same thing will happen. It's really frustrating.I have a Samsung galaxy victory. Is anyone else having this problem?
A. Yes! I am too and im getting really upset at first I thought I was doing it wrong but its actually the phone I guess :/ I also have a galaxy victory
