Q. Hello. Please, help me. I wanna buy a new phone but I don't know which to buy. There are 4 phones: LG Optimus L9, Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 and Sony Xperia L. I don't know which to buy. I want a good, fast phone with many, many apps. LG is nice, fast, but the camera is not very good. Samsung is nice, too, but I don't want this phone much. Sony is a nice phone, has a lot of apps, but IDK. The Nokia Lumia 920 is good, fast, have an awesome camera, verything is good, but the APPS?! Help ME! Thank you!
A. Lets take the Galaxy Xcover 2 out of this equation cause I dont think its worthy so out of the three: L9, Lumia 920 and the Xperia L, the best one would be the Nokia Lumia 920. The specifications are better and it also looks the nicest.
Here is a comparison of all three of the phones side by side: http://bit.ly/179eFgr

My phone information is:
SAMSUNG
GALAXY XCOVER GT-S5690
ANDROID: 2.3.6
I set country Bosnia and Herzegowina in software update becouse Iam from Bosnia... If country is problem how to set other country??'
But, I need to force update..
please do not say no way or something like that.... please send me a answer that he need no root access or something like that... please. please...
A. First of all, what are you trying to update? Apps? Just open up Google Play and go to My Apps.
Software update? Your phone is already up to date. Android 2.3.6 is the latest version for this phone. So there is no force update. And keep in mind the Google Services Framework method only works if you have a Nexus device.
Solution: Get a new phone if you want a newer version of Android.
Do games lag on Samsung Galaxy Xcover and if they do, how can i fix the lag?
Q. Games like Angry birds, Fruit ninja or Minecraft... Just ordered it
A. Hi Nick:
Since you are relatively new here on Y!A, you might not have noticed that you posted this Question in the "Camcorders" Category, when it would get better coverage in either "Cell Phones & Plans", "PDAs & Handhelds", or "Games & Gear".
But, just from personal experience, the newest Smartphones and Tablets have dedicated graphics processors to handle video and game-screen tasks, so you shouldn't have a problem. (I use a Kindle Fire to play "Angry Birds", and there's no visible lag.)
Of course, Angry Birds is a single-player game, and doesn't rely on network interfaces as would the multi-player versions of Fruit Ninja or Minecraft. I'd test the multi-player experience for any sluggishness, or else stick with the single-player versions.
As far as doing anything about any lag you experience after you receive your Galaxy model, unlike a PC or laptop, you can't "upgrade" the basic hardware of a handheld phone or tablet. You are also at the mercy of your 3G service provider or the speed of your WiFi hub. This is why you should either "try before you buy" or do better "review" research of others' experience with that model.
hope this helps,
--Dennis C.
