Q.
A. Which Samsung?
Unlike iPhone, Samsung has a complete range of models.
But if you're talking about their "flagship" model, the Galaxy S4...
In their review of the top-of-the-line Galaxy S4, Cnet says it's "a superphone that surpasses all other handsets on the features front" and "its blazing quad-core processor, colorful 5-inch HD screen, sharp-shooting 13-megapixel camera, and mile-high stack of software extras make the Galaxy S4 the most powerful superphone anywhere in the world."
The best they say about the iPhone 5 in that review is that the Galaxy S4 "may look like a toy compared with ...the dapper iPhone 5" (due to its all-plastic case). But their overall conclusion is that "the Galaxy S4 is the top choice for anyone looking for a big-screen, do-everything smartphone."
Should I get the iPhone 5(s) or the S4?
Q. I've been debating for a really long time and I have no idea which one to get. I'm a freshman in high school. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze. It was blazin' fast before it updated, which is so sad, because now it shuts off and lags 24/7. I hate the Samsung's keyboard so much to the point where I had to give in and pay $4 for Swiftkey and I never pay for apps. I have an iPod 4 8gb, it's not that smooth anymore, but I adore the keyboard. I like phones that are big and thin like the S4 but I love the design of both phones. I've heard that the S4 lags every now and then, and that the iPhone is extremely smooth. I'm looking for a more unlimited app store, because I'm jealous of how sometimes when I need an app, Google play store doesn't even have a close alternative! I'll use my phone mostly for picture taking, Facebook, Instagram, photography apps, and maybe games. I'm also into pretty cases and both phones have nice cases. Which phone should I get? The iPhone 5 (maybe S) or the S4? Also, I tend to drop my phone alot and I don't want a cracked screen because they're so expensive to repair. My brother dropped my iPod once and the screen is just dead.
A. Base on the information you provided..its a safe bet that you go ahead and get yourself an iPhone 5s. In order for Apple to drive up sales for its investors. They will discontinue the iPhone 5 following the debut of the 2 newer model and it will be replace with two models and they are the 5c (cheap plastic/incremental upgrade) and the 5s (Apple's flagship and their bread n butter/bigger upgrade). In regards to you and having your slippery phone come out of your hands like jumping beans. Apple offers a care plan that cost $99 bucks and in any incident where your screen is broken because of the problem of slippery iPhone. You can sleep more soundly at night to know it will cost about $49 bucks to get it replace on site at an Apple store :) As for the Samsung...they are equally amazing phone (I have the Galaxy note 1 and eagerly waiting for the note 3. The cost of a screen replacement no matter how you look at it cost $200 bucks min if not more than the deductibles on your insurance :(
