Q. I want to buy one of them ... but a little bit confused here ...
which one of them supportes 3G and EDGE ? and which one is better for surfing the web ?
thnx for ur help :)
A. All have 3G: PlayBook is available on Sprint; iPad, on AT&T and Verizon; Galaxy Tab 10.1, on Verizon. All can surf web find, although you may want to favor larger display size as a key factor to make make the web experience better.
BlackBerry PlayBook Advantages:
3 MP front camera (vs VGA), 5 MP rear camera (vs 0.7 MP), 1080p rear video (vs 720p), 1080p front video (vs VGA), micro HDMI & micro USB ports, Flash support, 0.9 lbs (vs 1.33 lbs)
iPad 2 Advantages:
Display: 9.7 inch, 1024x768 IPS LCD (vs PlayBook's 7 inch, 1024x600 LCD), 10.4hr battery life (vs 7hr batter life), huge apps market.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 Advantages:
1280x800 display. Lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love its light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet.
.
Ipad 2 or Samsung Galaxy tab.......?
Q. I planned to buy a tablet. But I couldn't select in between ipad 2 and Samsung galaxy tab 10.1. Which is better for the purpose of ebook reading, net browsing and documentary work?
A. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love its light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet. Choose the Tab 10.1 if you (a) prefer its 1280x800 TFT display more than iPad 2's 1024x768 IPS display; (b) want a better rear camera (3 MP) than iPad 2's lousy 0.7 MP camera; (c) believe in Android's more open approach to app development and acquisition; or (d) want Flash, which does not work on iPad 2.
Otherwise, go with the IPad 2, which has a higher degree of fit-and-finish than its competition. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).
Which tablet should I buy: Ipad or Samsung Galaxy?
Q. I'm not going to use it as a laptop. My priorities are:
1) Learn Japanese on it, so it has to support JAP text.
2) Read PDF, and enter notes. Preferably, Anki works on it.
3) I write so I need a word processor that is easy to deal with.
4) Play games (Although I'm not a gamer)
5) Watch online tv.
6) Not too expensive.
Note: I have iphone 3g, and I love it.
Another options are Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime and Sony Tablet S
A. In short, I'd go with the Asus Transformer Prime, but here are the factors:
Galaxy Tab 10.1 vs Apple iPad 2
Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).

iPad 2 vs Transformer Prime
Even the ASUS Transformer 1 had iPad 2 beat on specs. The Transformer Prime blows the iPad 2 away. I'd think that only a die-hard fan of Apple's fit-and-finish, or someone who needs 3G, would choose iPad 2 over the new ASUS Transformer Prime:
Transformer Prime Advantages:
+ Display size (10.1 inches vs 9.7 inches);
+ Display resolution (1280x800 vs 1024x768);
+ Can be like laptop with optional keyboard dock;
+ Rear camera (8MP vs 0.7MP);
+ Front camera (1.2 MP vs VGA);
+ Rear video (1080p vs 720p);
+ CPU (1.3 GHz 4-core vs 1 GHz 2-core);
+ RAM (1 GB vs 0.5 GB);
+ Ports (micro HDM, USB, SD, micro-SD vs none);
+ Supports Flash;
iPad 2 Advantages
+ 3G option
+ Apple's legendary fit-and-finish
+ Larger App Store
