A. Hi, On my SGP, you don't have to download anything. Just have the phone on and unlocked. Plug in the USB cable, select and then enable the mass storage option. After it's enabled, you can view the contents of the SD card as an external drive on your (Windows) laptop.

Q. I just got the new Iphone 5s so i want to take all my pictures onto my laptop but when i plug the samsung galaxy s2 into my laptop it doesnt say connect to usb or anything anymore. How should i go about doing this?
A. hi sapna, I don't have an s2, I have an s3 but try this:
go into settings > wireless and network > usb settings > here I have three options; Samsung kes, media player and mass storage....try changing the settings to "mass storage" and see if the device is then seen on your desktop...if yours is different, can't help any further
