this version is power hunger, more resources intensive
thats why many activities are running in background,
android is generally power, ram, processor hunger,
so you cant do anything for it
because it is problem of operating system,
otherwise said it is purposely designed that way
in that case samsung havent provide good battery backup (just 1600 mah battery)
it should be at least 2300 mah
there are many apps for battery saving but they cant do anything
they cant stop background activities
they just manage screen brightness,volume,vibration, etc rubbish things
i would suggest you through that s2
and buy Nokia Lumia series phone like lumia 920 (windows phone 8)
great features ,good battery backup than android
100000+ apps ,games in windows market
and windows 8 os is more faster than android

How to improve Samsung Galaxy S3 battery life?
Q. I bought the Galaxy S3 a few days ago(Sprint). It seems to overheat. (Not that hot though. Probably as hot as a computer when it's on your lap) About every minute, the battery life goes down by 1%. I have battsaver ultimate enabled. I also download movies from Adownload.(Pretty sure that's the problem, but it still goes down.) Also, it drains when the screen is turned off. Please help!

Q. Ok so i am saving for a galaxy s and have so far earned around $340.00
Does anyone know anywhere that i cn get one on a plan for realy cheap e.g buy fone cheap for $200.00 and go on a $50 per month plan? I dnt want to pay any more than $60 per month and i dnt want to pay amymore than $300.00 for fone. And i live in auckland New Zealand
