Are my apps on my smartphone constantly running?

Q. I just got a Samsung Galaxy Axiom and it's my first smartphone. I want to make sure i'm careful so I don't go over my data. I downloaded like 3 apps. Just basic ones like facebook and tune-in radio. But I see that there are also all these that are already on there. News, weather, stock reports. Are these things constantly using up data when I'm not on my phone? Or how does that work? Which apps use the most data and what should I be watching for? Are these like constantly updating so they are using the data, or are they only on when my phone is unlocked, or what? I know most of the basics, but I don't want to be wasting my data on news stories that I'm not even reading.

A. Yes , apps are running in background.

If u want to save data goto setting>>application>>manage app>>all>>select app>>force stop or disable(if available)

How to connect my samsung galaxy to play to my car stereo?
Q. I tried to plug my galaxy S3 to audi A5 2012 the only answer I got on my mini display in my car is that there are no playlist on that device. But when I plugged an iPhone is not a problem at all. On my galaxy S3 I have a 16 GB SD Card also my bluetooth works fine i can talk on it without any problems Please someone tell me what can I do.

A. 1. Plug the large end of the micro USB cable into your computer and the small end into the USB port on the top of your Galaxy S phone. Wait for your computer to recognize the phone.
2. Press the "Power" button on the top right side of your phone, briefly. Unlock the phone by dragging the padlock icon to the top of the screen.
3. Drag the notification pane down by touching the top of the screen and dragging your finger to the bottom. Touch the "USB Connected" notification and then press the "Mount" button. Your phone's microSD card will appear to your computer like an external drive.
4. Click on the "Start" button on your computer and then click on "Computer." Double-click the drive icon that corresponds to your Galaxy S phone. This will open a folder that shows the contents of your phone's microSD card. You can copy files to and from the folder like you would any other folder on your computer.
5. Click the "USB Device" icon in the task tray of your computer. Click "Eject USB Device." Wait until you're done transferring files before ejecting the phone from the computer.
6. Unlock your phone and drag down the notification area. Tap the "USB Connected" notification and press "Disconnect." You can now safely unplug your phone.
