Q. I'm about to spend some hard earned money from my summer job and buy the new iPad or iPad 3, whatever. It's alot of money so I want to make sure its protected. Otterbox is usually a good brand of protection but I hear its a waste of $100.
Is it worth it or is there other cases or covers that work just fine? Smart covers? Folios??
A. Check the Otterbox, Trident, LifeProof and other cases, for drop tests on Youtube and decide for yourself which you want to try.
As for the type of protection the cases give you, what are you looking for? Drop protection or bullet proof protection? Doubt you will be finding a bullet proof case.
Can an iPad 2 cover be used with an iPad 2 Otterbox?

A. As far as I know, all Otterbox cases are to be put on the device WITHOUT anything else being on. And you can put the iPad with Otterbox case in something ELSE, like a cover/backpack/laptop case.
But the best thing of course would be to contact Otterbox and ask them, using the options below.
