Q. I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 7.0 recently, which had 4GB of memory. I went ahead and bought a 15GB memory card. The tab recognizes it but whenever I download an app, a song, a file, anything at all, it gets stored in the 4GB memory. How do I save things on my memory card?
A. It is not possible to save apps on memory card directly from android market because it is inbuilt system but still u want to save it on mem.card then u have to root your tablet, after rooting apps were by default save in device memory but with the help of rooting u will b able to move all apps of device to memory cards in setting option by selecting application section....rooting is the only option...,i also have galaxy tab 10,7.0 but its internal memory is 16gb....enough to save many apps..but i want to say that dont root it.,coz sometime after rooting device faces many problems regarding apps&interface..,
I have a question about the Samsung Galaxy Tab?
Q. I want a samsung galaxy tab 7.0 wifi only. How much is it in the Philippines? Does it have Microsoft word? Is it a good tablet? What about the battery life?
A. you can buy one fairly cheap from ebay and have it shipped to philppines.
Is it possible to directly transfer pics from camera to Samsung Galaxy? If so, how?
Q. Planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy tablet for my mom's birthday and I need to know if I can directly update pictures to it from a camera.. and how, please~
A. No, you can't transfer files directly by connecting your camera to the Galaxy Tab. But there are other ways you can transfer files to it. Such as...
I think there are two different Galaxy Tabs available (7" and 10.1"). From looking at information/User Manuals, the 7" Tab appears to have better connectivity.
You can connect it directly to your computer (it will be seen as a removable disk) which allows you to transfer files to it.
You can also insert an SD memory card directly in the Tab in order to transfer files to it (because it has an SD card slot). So, all you need to do is take the memory card out of your camera, insert it in the Tab and transfer files to it...or transfer whatever files you want over to any SD/SDHC memory card (by connecting it and a USB card reader to your computer) then insert the card in the Tab to transfer the files to it.
However, the 10.1" Tab doesn't appear to have an SD card slot, meaning the only easy way to transfer files to it would be by connecting it to your computer and then transferring your files over to it.
You can download the User Manuals for each Tab from Samsung's website...but I recommend you ask questions (from the salesperson) when buying it, just to make sure of it's connectivity.
