How is Straight Talk's service on Android phones, specifically on T-Mobile's network?
Q. I'm considering purchasing the LG Optimus 2x with Straight Talk, soon to be Straight Talk's newest android addition running on T-Mobile's network, but have heard people comment on how terrible the "2nd hand" service is that Straight Talk buys through T-Mobile. I've actually heard that to be the case with all Android phones used through straight talk, but that's not the point.
So for Android phones used on Straight Talk, specifically on T-Mobile's network, and specifically the LG Optimus 2x (which would be used in northern Florida), is the service notoriously poor like I've heard so many say?
A. I don't know about, it being on T-Mobile Networks. I currently have a Straight talk android, and the service is very low in rural areas, (At first I was upset because, Ive already had 3 different straight talk phones and never had a problem with service in rural, country, city, or any areas, but I got over it, because I don't live in a rural area.) and I asked the company why, and of course they said that because they are just starting to distribute Androids, that the towers for Straight talk Androids are different, from their other straight talk phones . If you don't live in a very (I mean super duper rural) rural area you don't have anything to worry about.
I dont have Straight Talks LG Optimus 2x, but I do plan on getting it, because I haven't had any problems with Straight Talks Samsung Galaxy Precedent, and they are both Androids so I'm guessing they will have the same service, if not better.
So all in all if I were you I would definitely purchase it, I mean you cant beat it Straight Talk has a good rep for a PrePaid Service Company!
