Q. I am planning to buy the one that is better
A. For overall value, there is another tablet that you don't mention: The ASUS Eee Transformer (TF101) is extremely feature rich for under $400: Android 3.1, 10.1 inch 1280x800 IPS (like iPad, but bigger and higher resolution) display, up to 9 hours of battery life (16 hours if optional dock added), optional ability to dock with keyboard, 1 GHz Tegra 250 ARM CPU with 1 GB RAM, good array of ports (mini HDMI, SD, micro SD), etc. Note, though, no 3G (however people report success in tethering it to smart phones).
If you are set on the Galaxy Tab or iPad 2...
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 (1.25 lbs) is the lightest of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love it's light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet.
iPad 2 Advantages:
IPads have a higher degree of fit-and-finish than the competition. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than the competition.
iPad 2 Disadvantages:
1. No Flash.
2. No SD expansion; no HDMI port; no USB port.
3. ASUS Eee Transformer has a better display (10.1 inch, 1280x800, IPS vs 9.7 inch, 1024x768, IPS) for less money.
4. PlayBook and G-Slate have better rear camera video recording (1080p vs 720p).
5. PlayBook has much better front camera video recording (1080p vs VGA).
6. Almost all tablets have better camera resolution than iPad's lousy 0.7 MP.
Can any one tell me witch tablet is better and why?
Q. I want to buy a tablet and im not sure witch one to buy out of
asus eee pad transformer 2
Ipad 2
Samsung galaxy
i have iphone 4 myself tho
A. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love its light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet. Choose the Tab 10.1 if you (a) prefer its 1280x800 TFT display more than iPad 2's 1024x768 IPS display; (b) want a better rear camera (3 MP) than iPad 2's lousy 0.7 MP camera; (c) believe in Android's more open approach to app development and acquisition; or (d) want Flash, which does not work on iPad 2.
Choose the ASUS Eee Transformer if you still want an Android Honeycomb tablet but at a lower price point and are willing to sacrifice thinness and weight in exchange for the ability to add a cool keyboard dock which facilitates typing and adds battery life.
Otherwise, go with the IPad 2, which has a higher degree of fit-and-finish than its competition. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).
From your view, which is best: Blackberry Playbook, IPAD and Samsung Galaxy?
Q. Considering the features of these devices, which is the best to buy.. and what are the differences on their features. In fact what makes one superior than the other?
A. Galaxy Tab 10.1 vs Apple iPad 2:
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).
Don't even consider PlayBook unless you're willing to accept BlackBerry Tablet OS, which is a distant third in third-party apps. If that doesn't bother you...
BlackBerry PlayBook vs Apple iPad 2:
BlackBerry PlayBook Advantages:
3 MP front camera (vs VGA), 5 MP rear camera (vs 0.7 MP), 1080p rear video (vs 720p), 1080p front video (vs VGA), micro HDMI & micro USB ports, Flash support, 0.9 lbs (vs 1.33 lbs)
iPad 2 Advantages:
Display: 9.7 inch, 1024x768 IPS LCD (vs 7 inch, 1024x600 LCD), 10.4hr battery life (vs 7hr batter life), huge apps market.
Another difference: PlayBook is available on Sprint; iPad, on AT&T and Verizon.
