Q. I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy Reverb and I'm not able to send pictures.
I have the $25 plan where I get unlimited text, data and 300 minutes. I was able to send pictures on my old phone and I'm unsure what happened.
I'm able to receive pictures but other people can't receive mine.
Any ideas?
A. There are a lot of reasons why picture messaging might not be working.
You mentioned you have a data plan, but do you turn the data off on the phone when not using it? If so, that's the cause. Picture messaging needs that to be on to work.
Access point names can be another reason for it not to work, but if it's a new phone and not unlocked it should already have that information. If it is unlocked you need to contact your service provider for the correct APN.
As for your plan, does it definitely include picture messaging as well as regular text messaging?
Do you have you have any picture messages on your phone still trying to send? You'd better go through your outboxes and delete any that are, they will clog up the whole thing and prevent new ones from going through.
Try sending yourself a picture message - it may be required to set up the profile on the network
Aside from that, there are things that your service provider may be able to do with tools not accessible to the public.
How can I get rid of Mobile ID off of my Virgin Mobile phone without rooting it?
Q. I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Reverb and I was very happy with it until I kept getting these annoying notifications saying I needed to download Mobile ID. Well, I did and now I regret it. It messed up the entire appearance of my phone. Now my phone lags too and sometimes touching the screen won't work and I'll have to restart my phone.
I normally use ADW launcher and if anyone knows how to get that back to that launcher, please instruct me on how. I'm currently using it still but when I press home it goes to the Mobile ID set appearance and I have to click on the ADW app to open it. That's also really annoying.
I've tried clearing all the data and allowances for Mobile ID, regular launcher and ADW launder, but it still goes back to Mobile ID.
Will doing a factory reset remove Mobile ID, by any chance?
Thanks for the help in advance.
A. Yes if you do a factory reset then yes it will return the phone like it was when you first bought it. All your personal information will be wiped out as well.
Will I be able to transfer all my music from my iPod touch 4 to Samsung Galaxy Reverb?
Q. It's a Virgin Mobile phone. And keep all the music on my iPod still. Can I copy the files without damaging quality over Bluetooth?
A. No apple to Apple only
