A. Yes, the Galaxy Player can be turned into a phone, in a manner of speaking. Basically, you can use VoIP. All you need is a google voice account with a google voice phone number, the google voice app installed on the player and another application called Groove IP.
With the combination of these apps and voice account it all works. In fact, I just set it up last night on my sons player, and it works great.

Q. i ordered a Samsung galaxy player 5.0 and i found out that there are some game apps on the android market that are not available for the device.Is there a list of game apps that are unavailable for the Samsung galaxy player 5.0. or maybe a list of all available apps. thanks.
A. there are games that are not available because of its processor, like modern combat 2, 3, asphalt 6, nova 2, and other 3d high end game, but im pretty sure all the other apps are available
