Q. This morning, I got a Samsung Galaxy SIII Pebble Blue AT&T and Samsung Kies. I plugged my SIII into my pc using the cable that was given when I bought the phone. When I go to my computer, my windows vista laptop won't recognize my Galaxy SIII. It perfectly recognized my Galaxy Tab 10.1". How do I transfer files as if it is a USB Mass Storage Device and transfer my music?
A. connect phone to PC...... on phone, you'll see the USB icon in the notificaiton tray... swing it down.... tap on USB icon..... select MASS STORAGE MODE.... you'll notice another Driver setup on your PC screen near the clock area.... it should installl.... and wallla.... all done.... open my computer in windows menu... see your GS3 listed.... now start transfering files..... Windows Media Player will sync music for you if your like toooo..
IFFF.......... for whatever ungodly reason that doesnt work either... disconnect phone!!!... then google Samsung Galaxy S III drivers.... Google Search will direct you to the Samsung sublink for the Driver download.... its free.... just pick you phone.... make... model.... download to your desktop.... click on driver icon.... install..... and install REBOOT computer... reboot phone for good measure..... connect phone to PC..... now it better work since you forced the drivers onto your computer...... if not, contact Samsung or get another NEW FREE GS3 from ATT due to factory defect!!!
Will my phone usb charger adapter work for other things?
Q. I've a Samsung Galaxy phone, the charger is simlpy a usb cord wih a wall adapter. Since it is just a usb cord adapter, is it safe to assume that I can use the adapter for other usb charging cords, specifically a PSP.
A. I use my HTC adapter for charging up my LG 3D tv shutter glasses because you don't get supplied with a charger..just a usb cable.
I'm assuming because you can use the usb cable plugged into a pc or laptop to charge a phone you can charge other things too if its plugged into the charger instead as the voltage should be the same.
How do I insert my samsung sd adapter into my samsung galaxy y phone?
Q. Hi, I've just got a samsung galaxy y GT-S5363 phone and I don't know how where to insert the samsung micro sd adapter lock... I have inserted the small micro sd 2gb into the side, but have no idea where the larger one goes. There just seems to be no slots. So have they put this in accidentally? Or is there something I haven't found on the phone? Please help
A. The SD card is an adapter, you use this when you want to transfer files from the micro SD card to your laptop or PC. The Micro SD card ships with a standard-sized SD card adapter. The Micro SD card fits into the SD card adapter, so that the card may be inserted into a standard SD card reader on a computer. Many computers and laptops include built-in SD card readers. However, external SD card readers are inexpensive and may be connected to a PC or laptop using a USB connector cable.
