Q. I have T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-T989) and the phone itself doesn't have that hole where you put your phone strap on it. Is there any way you can put a phone strap on a Galaxy S2? Like a phone case with a phone strap hole on it or any kind of thing?
A. There is an inexpensive little "O" ring accessory that you can attach to your phone or phone case that will give you a place to hang your charm. Here is an article with a photo so you can see what they look like: http://www.squidoo.com/lucky-st-patricks-day-phone-charms You may be able to find one in a store that sells phone accessories or you can buy them online.
What should I choose Iphone 4 or Samsung Galaxy s2?
Q. hello, I`m thinking to change my current phone to a smartphone and i am not sure what to choose. I'm thinking to buy an Iphone 4 but friends are telling me about Samsung galaxy s2. What is the difference between this 2 phone ? Lot of people are using iphone and i'm thinking to buy one.
Is this a good ideea ?
A. I have a Samsung Galaxy S (the first version) and I love it. Personally, I haven't had any problems with my phone.
A lot of my friends have iPhones and have had problems with their phones being slow at times or not working properly. It could just be coincidence that it's always their phones though, or maybe they don't treat them well.
The main deciding factor is whether you want an Apple phone or an Android phone. I've never had problems with Android. There's no question, Apple is the bigger company, is a lot more popular, and therefore has a bigger selection of applications to download. It can also make things a lot more expensive, since people have no other options for phone accessories and things. You'll most likely find that phone covers/cases are cheaper for the Galaxy S (and the same with the charger, screen covers etc.).
With the Galaxy S, you save yourself the trouble of iTunes. There's the Samsung version "Samsung Kies", but you're not required to use it.
I must say, I like the layout of the homepage and all the icons on the iPhone, but you get used to the Android layout too.
I personally prefer the design of the actual phone with the Galaxy S and Galaxy S 2, but that's just MY preference, and I don't think physical appearance of the phone should play a very big part in your choice.
I hope that helped a bit :)
Good rugged cases for the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket?
Q. I am going to buy the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket for Virgin Mobile and I want to know if there are any good big, bulky rugged cases (except the Otterbox cases) for the S2. 10 Points for the best suggestions for construction cases! Thanks. :)
A. Honestly it doesn't need one as it has gorilla glass so it won't shatter or anything if you drop.it. I would suggest getting a screen protector for any major scratches and if you really really want a case the case mates are thin and pretty tough.
