A. The overwhelming consensus is that this is a glitch of some kind but none the less, irritating.
What is suggested for this common alert notice is to remove the battery and keep the mobile dismantled for an hour or so.
Do a hard re-set by removing the battery, and turning it on and off again. Go to your settings, back up and re-set the phone.
They also add: install a custom ROM/Root your Android.
Lastly, clean out the ports for the charger. That means what is being charged, as well as what you are connecting it TO. If you are charging it through your laptop, the regular charger, the car charger..everything could use this: You need a can of aerosol air to blow out the tiny dust particles in the ports. The dust and accumulated little bits of debris may be causing the alert notice.
You could also fold up a tiny piece of paper (or a swab) but an electronics can of air will blow it out nicely and won't disturb anything else.
The (many) people who have attempted to resolve this refer to it happening only some of the time. Some say it's only when they are using a car charger. Some say it's only when using a USB and charging a mobile devise via their laptop. It varies. At least you know that many people have had this issue and it isn't JUST YOU. Most have said that after the phone is unplugged, the battery is removed, and one performs a 'hard' re-set, the phone will charge normally.
Phoning customer care for your mobile company will always help..and if they unsuccessfully trouble-shoot the issue, it's more than likely that they will send you another phone (you would send this one back to them)..as most (if not all) mobile phone companies would much rather send out a new phone vs. trouble-shooting a possibly defective handset.
Phoning them about the issue and officially documenting the problem/error code msg with them means that should you ever have to return the phone for a replacement, you at least are in their system = they will be able to look back and see this has be recurring = they will replace the phone for you.

Charging any phone, laptop, tablet..any electronics..using a car charger is supposedly very hard on electronics batteries. The result is a breakdown of the mobile's battery = shortening it's life. A phone will charge faster on a car charger than a regular wall charger. Because of this, I have read that a phone battery will burn out and possibly not function properly, in a short period of time if it is repeatedly charged using a car charger.
Having to replace an over-worked/over-charged battery for a mobile phone = undue stress for your mobile. It's like making your Gran run a Marathon every day. She'll give out much faster than if she simply took a leisurely walk for a few minutes, daily. Your mobile can't take all that high-powered car battery charging and live long.
It's because of THAT fact that (in some cases), an electronic devise CAN be in danger if charged with a car charger/car battery most of the time vs. a wall charger. If you typically charge your mobile using the car charger..I think it may be too much for the phone. Make sure to use a power strip (or an outlet that is protected and deemed 'safe'). Don't charge your mobile using an old, beat-up extension cord, either.
