Q. I sort of need a better music device than my ipod shuffle. And I do need a new phone. I thing im going with T-mobile prepaid service. So because the Samsung galaxy s3 has plenty of memory and more, I thought Id buy it for 549 dollars and have a phone and good music player.
A. It is superb. I only tried small samples but it is excellent! Thats a good choice to go through prepaid (: I have Tmobile prepaid also. (Unlocked Samsung Galaxy SII) Im sure you would like your SIII (:
I thought id give the iPhone a try... i like it but i kinda miss the features on Android :p
The SIII is just superb ! (Although its sorta big for my TINY hands haha)
How would I use a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a prepaid phone plan?
Q. I'm thinking about changing my phone plan from a contact plan to a prepaid plan, but i'm not sure if i'll be able to use my new samsung galaxy s3 with the plan I want to switch to. I think if I unlocked the phone(don't know how) then I should be able to use it some how, but I don't know how to do this
A. If you are on the same network, you can do it without unlocking
If you want to change networks, you can goto http://globalunlock.com/phones/ and unlock your phone and then change it over to a pre paid on any other GSM network.
What are the service providers/carriers in the Philippines for smart phones?
Q. Im planning to buy a samsung galaxy S3 in the USA and send it to the Philippines, do i need to buy a sim card?
A. Although there are some other carriers, the 2 most dominant ones are Smart and Globe.
Galaxy S3 smartphones that uses sim cards can easily be used in the Philippines to call and text.
To use Smart or Globe sims (or any of the other local sims), you need to have it unlocked, if it is locked to a specific network. Although you can do this abroad, normally it would be cheaper to this in the Philippines.
