Q. Im getting an ipad soon and i will be getting a smart cover as well. Do i need another cover to cover the back aswell? I want it to stay looking new and not scratched, should i cover it? What type of covers/cases will also allow the smart cover to be put on? Do those protecters that you stick on work?
A. If you want to prevent scratches then yeah, your gonna need a case for it. I reccomend the griffin survivor case, as it is very strong and won't break easy, hope this helps ;)
How do I clean my iPad case?
Q. I've had my cases (I like to switch back and forth every so often) for about 6 months now and they are getting GROSS! I tried wiping them with water and scrubbing gently with a brush. I have one of the smart covers and then a portfolio case from griffin.

Will a Griffin Survivor fit an original iPad?
Q. I really like the Survivor by Griffin, but it says it will fit iPads 2 & 3. Are the dimensions really that different that it wouldn't fit the original iPad? Are there any extremely rugged cases like this I can get for my original iPad?
A. The thickness of the original iPad was 0.50 in (13 mm) while the iPad 2 is was 0.34 in (8.6 mm). It probably wont fit.
