Q. Hi, i just got an ipad yesterday, and this morning, I found this tiny with scratch just less than 1cm in length on my screen, and it's REALLY annoying. How can I remove it, or make it not be seen?
-Thanks for the help.
A. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do to remove the scratch.
Don't try polishing it because it will only damage your iPad since the scratch is super small.
I would recommend for you to just buy a screen protector. It could help cover up the scratch to the point where you can't really notice it + it helps prevent future scratches.
& Here's a link to a forum where people have the same exact problem as you :)
They have a lot of great suggestions there as well!

Can anyone direct me to a store that will sell/ship goods from the UK to the USA?
Q. I'm trying to buy an Ipad accessory that is only available in the UK, and have it shipped over here to the USA. Does anyone know of an electronics store or dealer that will provide this service for less than $500?
A. Not sure of the current exchange rate.. but the site provided will ship internationally for less than 20 pounds. Pretty sure that is only 30 bucks or so.
What are your thoughts on the ipad as a gift?
Q. Im starting early on Christmas gifts, and my boyfriend could really use a new laptop. I have heard that the ipad can do the same things as a laptop, only it is more fun to use. He would mainly use it for fantasy sports, checking email, and surfing the web. What are your thoughts?
Also - if it is ant consolation, I bought him an ipod touch last year for Christmas. Is the ipad basically the same thing, only bigger?
A. Well if you are expecting them to be as useful and handy as a laptop, they're not.
I've read several technical reports on them and here are a few of the areas that they lack in:
1. They're kind of slippery with all their smooth surfaces and not easily carried unless you use a pouch/bag.
2. They tend not to be flat. So when you put it on a flat surface they tend to spin some.
3. Typing is done on the touchscreen so it's not close to the normal typing experience with a keyboard.
4. They're hard to see/read in bright light.
5. They don't have the overall computing power that a decent laptop will provide.
6. You can't customize the hardware/software to suit your true needs.
7. Becareful of the pricing. Look at what you'll need for accessories and the pricing of them before you get hung up on the "low" price of the Ipad itself. Initially they were offering it for around $450 and I've read reports that essentially said: "once I got all I needed I spent nearly $800." So make sure you know what you need long before you purchase or order one.
Once you have a complete picture of the Ipad, what you'll need to go with it, and a bottom line total price, compare that with how much laptop you can buy with the same money.
I'm not a big Ipad fan to begin with but I have a feeling that if you shop around you can find a pretty good tablet pc or laptop that will offer him a lot more capability for the $$$$.
Good luck and I hope this helps some.
