Q. Okay so I'm getting the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 , and I just want to know how long I should charge it before I first use it. I know when I get the phone it will have like 50% battery already, so should I use that up first then charge it, or charge it straight away? I remember with old phones you used to have to charge them for at least 6 hours when you first get them. Does that still apply? Thanks in advance :)
A. That's an old way of treating phones and batteries. The lithium batteries in the new phones and devices today are already life cycled. You can put it on the charger if you like and give yourself a 100% charge or use it till it needs to be re-charged.
How to fix this problem on my Samsung Galaxy Young?
Q. I just recently acquired the phone. The battery was fully drained before finally charging it. I was able to use the phone for 2 days before the battery drained. However, today, after fully charging the battery, only a black screen with this inscription "Samsung Galaxy Young GT S5360" appears. I have tried turning it on and off and the same thing appears. Can anybody help me with this? What has happened to the phone?

Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 running Android 2.2.1 and Darky's rom 9.2 which also means that the phone is rooted. I use it a lot for work and i usually make long days (7:45am - 11:00pm) but I'm always out of battery way before i go home. So my question is: how can i expand my phones battery life?
A. Hi i have this phone, i used to have this problem with it aswell, id go to work and by maybe say 4 o clock it would completely run out, what i did was install this app from the market, its called advanced task killer, basicly what this does is kill all the apps which are running in the background,( which you cant see), belive it or not, background tasks waste 47% of the battery!, also, do you have a live wallpaper? if u do id take that of, that wastes alot, and i mean alot of battery, also try and not play alot of apps aswell as that wastes alot of battery,
