Q. Ok so I'm hoping to get the T-mobile $30 a month plan. But they only sell one phone for this service! So is the Samsung galaxy S 2, a good phone? (i know the 3 is better but it doesn't go with this plan)
Also is it a good price? The bundle costs $329 for....
The Phone, car charger, mini/micro USB cable, earbuds with mic, cleaning cloth, 4 sizes of screen protectors, and 2 alcohol cleaning wipes.
A. You can use any unlocked phone. I use the $30 plan with 100 minutes, unlimited text and data on T-mobile and I use a galaxy nexus. If I were you, I would get the new Nexus 4 from google.

It's sold out right now, but there is a $350 version with 16 gigs of storage, or a $300 version with 8 gigs of storage. It has a better screen than the galaxy S2, it has a faster processor than the S2, and will get faster data speeds on T-mobile's network than the S2.
Some of the downsides are that it doesn't have a microSD expansion slot, so you are stuck with the memory in the phone.
I've narrowed down my phone choice to 3, which one should I get?
Q. I've decided I'm going to get either an HTC One V, a Samsung Galaxy SIII or an iPhone 5. Here's the pro's and con's that I can think of for each:
HTC One V:
-Pros
-Cheaper ($599)
-Smaller, it fits better in my hand.
-Android operating system (4.0)
-Doesn't feel like it's going to break easy
-Cons
-Probably no cases or screen protectors available to stop it breaking if dropped.
-Not as well known, not good for social status (compared to other 2)
Samsung Galaxy SIII
-Pros
-People will think I'm richer (it's expensive!!)
-I can buy it for $898 brand new (cheaper than iPhone)
-Bigger screen
-Good quality camera
-Large amount of internal memory and option to insert an external microSD
-Range of colours
-Android (more free apps)
-Cons
-It's still expensive (even if I can get it cheaper)
-Apparently it's easily breakable, even with cases and screens.
-Although it is good for social status, not as good as iPhone.
_Quite big, doesn't fit in my hand well, although I think I would get used to it quickly.
iPhone 5
-Pros
-Great for social status, almost nothing can beat it.
-Clear and big screen
-Easy and simple to understand and use
-Good design and quite a lot of freedom with everything (if I jailbreak it, which I may not)
Cons
-Very expensive ($1049 at the cheapest)
-Not in much range of colour, only black or white.
-No freedom if I don't jailbreak it.
-Very breakable.
-Is quite tall, doesn't fit very well in my hand, although I could get used to it.
Thats the pros and cons of both, based on that and any other good or bad points, what phone should I save up for? Considering I'm 16 and am currently working to get a proper job. Still in school so can't work full time. I already have at least $350 towards any phone. Thanks :) and sorry its long.
A. The Galaxy S3 is awesome, I've had it since the week it came out and have never had a single problem. Plus, it has tons of cool features that no other phone has, for example it knows when you are reading something on the screen and won't dim or turn the screen off until your eyes look away!
Also, it has a feature like iPhone's "Siri", and it works great. I use it every morning to ask what the weather will be like that day, and to send text messages.
The 4G LTE internet is really fast.
It takes awesome pictures and videos, and front-facing camera even looks great.
I would definitely recommend getting this phone, you'll love it! Way more features than the iPhone, and less restrictive (You have access to the battery and can add more memory by installing a MicoSD card, plus you can add media without using iTunes.)

Galaxy S III vs. iPhone 4S?
Q. I'm getting a new phone soon. I've been looking at the new Samsung Galaxy S III and the iPhone 4S. Both look great! The Galaxy S III has a much bigger screen, 4G LTE capability, more customization, better cameras, better features, and has more RAM and a faster processor. It can also hold MicroSD cards, but I'll get back to that in a second.
The iPhone 4S has a smaller screen, but Siri is better than the Galaxy's S Voice. The User INterface is a lot easier to use, plus I've had an iPod Touch for almost 3 years, and I know how to use that effortlessly and would easily adapt to the iPhone, where it would take awhile to change over to Android. The iPhone is also a lot more durable than the Galaxy. In speed tests i've seen on youtube.com, the iPhone launches apps faster, but the internet speed goes to the Galaxy. So in my opinion they are pretty much tied 50-50. I don't know what to do. If you have either, or have had either in the past, please let me know what you think about them. In a lot of ways the Galaxy is a lot better, but I am used to the iPhone and its OS.
Also, I have a 32GB iPod Touch. If I would get the Galaxy, I would get the 16GB version, and get a 16 or 32 GB MicroSD card to expand the memory. However, the iPhone doesn't have that option. That means I would have spend an extra $100 just to get the 32GB version of the iPhone. My second question is if I can use the Cloud to listen to my music without having to store it on my iPhone?
Thanks!!! 10 points coming your way!
A. Hey, I have also been debating between the two myself. I was originally set on getting the iphone 5 when it came out, but then i saw the galaxy s 3, and wanted to double check what i wanted. They are both great phones, but in my opinion, the galaxy s 3 is more for techies that know they're way around, while iphone can be adapted to by pretty much anyone. The galaxy has many motion gestures and special settings that will make using the phone alot faster, yet they are somewhat complicated. They both have their own pros and cons, but the galaxy's 4g and customization stood out, as well as iphone's siri and appstore. But honestly i wouldn't use siri because its faster to do what you want yourself, but the galaxy s 3 can show u the weather on the lockscreen with a simple setting, without the need of siri or galaxy s voice. And the appstore on android may seem to be terrible, but its doesn't have that many fewer apps(apple-500,000, android-440,000). And as you said the galaxy s 3 has the micro sd, but my favorite feature is that it reads almost any video file type while the iphone only supports mp4 :(, and can connect to a usb storage device, and even stream the contents or copy it onto the phone. It can also connect to hdmi like the iphone. I personally like the galaxy s 3 better, and part of that is because i have already owned an ipod touch 32gb like you and have gotten pretty used to it, and therefore have gotten a bit tired of the same system. Research for yourself, compare both of their specs online, check out youtube videos where they are both compared, check them both out in a sprint or AT&T store where they have both, and ask your friends, because they may have great input on this as well. And as for the durability of the phones, a simple case and screen protector makes it so that the safety of the galaxy s 3 won't always be on your mind. As for cloud, i know it is supported on iphone, meaning you can store up to 50gb of storage, but i believe there is a type of account membership you have to make and pay after the trial. And then, yes, you could listen to the music you store on your iphone. I hope i helped you in make your decision. Good luck!
