Q. So, I have a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 (P3110), and I've been messing around with custom roms and all that fun stuff, but now I've decided I want to go back to the stock Android 4.0.3. How do I do this? I've researched this online and found nothing, so I would like some advice on how to go about doing this. Any help would be great :D
A. there are a couple ways to do it.
you can keep your custom recovery and flash the stock rooted version of the software just like you have been flashing ROM's
or you can restore your stock nandorid backup you made...becase i KNOW you made one. i am 100% comfortable with flashing ROMs and stuff, but i still have a stock ROM backup on my phone and PC just in case.
you can go back to completely stock. not sure exactly how to do it but look into Kies. i believe this is the way most samsung devices work...basically using Keis to flash the stock bootloader, recovery img, and ROM.
What's better the Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0" or the nexus 7?
Q.
A. Try both of them. They have a different feel.
Some differences:
- Samsung has Dual-core CPU vs Nexus Quad-core... but you might not notice this difference in the real world unless you play highly demanding games.
- Since the Nexus is by Google (producer of the Android operating system/OS they both use), it might get the latest OS upgrades faster.
- The Nexus is made by ASUS, a big motherboard/laptop manufacturer.
- Otherwise they are pretty similar and the Samsung goes on sale a lot bringing their prices very close to each other.
- Another difference in case it matters to you, the Samsung has a back camera while the Nexus does not. This can be useful for showing other people places, houses, etc... via Skype or whatever video app you use. It is also handy for capturing documents or notes to share them or bring them into Evernote, an excellent app. I chose the Samsung for my wife for Christmas due to this feature even tho I use an iPad.
Should i get the nexus 7 or iPad mini or Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0?
Q. Christmas is coming up and a tablet is one of the things on my list which should I get I was thinking nexus 7 how do these stack up against eachother any experiences with these what about specs
A. iPad's are more fluid, but they can get a bit boring after a while. since its so overrated. Im sorry but I can't answer your question very specifically. but this should help you.
you should probably get an iPad if you dont already own an iPod touch or iPhone to FaceTime with friends. and also, if you dont own those. will you? are your friends the type to use that a bit or are they android and windows 8 fans? Nexus 7 tablets are really cool to use, and its not like youll find it in anybodys hand. I like them because theyre pretty unique. but what about you? you should probably get a Nexus if you are a developer type of guy/girl.
but in any case. Apples Tablets so far are a bit more advanced than Android, they have their own type of apps, so its not stretched. But Android tablets sometimes have more processing power and such. but do you mind if it doesnt? just remember, the Samsung galaxy tab 7 is abit outdated, so Id forget about that choice..
