A. Just install iFile, and plug it in. iFile should mount it for you, and you can use it for external storage immediately. None of the native apps will be able to access the content unless you copy it to a folder on the iPad.
Of note, this also works with some thumb drives when using the USB adapter, but most require more power, so you would need to use a powered hub to make it work. SD cards do not have this problem.

multi-tasking
running real applications
running real games
typing (unless you have an external keyboard)
storage space
no flash support nor java (no flash games or java games)
using long term(hours at a time)
What iPad is good for:
portable
lightweight
long battery life
decent for websurfing

Shooting photos and video with such a physically large device is awkward.
Support for 4G LTE is limited in many locations and the device does not support 4G LTE frequencies in most countries other than the US.
