Q. So I have $200, and I want to get a tablet, because I've never had one and the new house we're moving into has wi-if. :)
So, at Walmart, they're having a sale on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Garnet Red Edition). I think it's 8 GB, but it's expandable to 32 GB. It also has a back camera, which I like. Also, if you buy, it ($219.99), you get a free $10 e-gift card. The reason why I'm considering this is because I like Samsung, and I LOVE that this one has a red color and it comes with a snap- on case.
BUT...
On all the reviews I've read, the Google Nexus 7 is better. Faster processor, and better screen. But I don't exactly like the look of it. :/ but I don't want to get the Samsung and then be disappointed because it might be slow??? Is it slow??? I also don't like the landscape-style that the nexus has. And that it doesn't have a back camera. And it's just plain black.
But despite all of this, should I pay the extra $50 and get the Nexus, or is the Samsung sufficient enough for me?
A. The nexus 7 is a better tablet, i tried the 10 inch version of the samsung which has similar specs and it was surprisingly slow. I recommend getting the nexus 7.
Does my galaxy tab 2 7.0 need a keyboard?
Q. so i recently bought the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 for my 7 year old sister.
i was looking for cases and ive come across some with wifi keyboards
does it really need a keyboard? if so why?
(i use it sometimes, im 21)
A. The only reason you would "need" a keyboard is if you were going to write papers and do assignments for school on it, otherwise the virtual keyboard that it provides will definitely work well enough. I hope you have fun with your new Galaxy Tab!!!
what's the difference between a google android tablet and an galaxy tablet?
Q. i see one for $200 and the other for $300 which one is worth it?
Google Android 4.0 1.2GHz 4GB Tablet PC
Google Android 4.0 1.2GHz 4GB Tablet PC
A. They are both Android tablets. But, the Google Nexus tablet will run on stock Android and will get the newest version faster (almost as soon as it get's released). But the Galaxy Tab is running with Samsung's custom TouchWiz interface so it looks less Androidish but it does include some more features than stock Android includes.
I am going to assume that you're asking between the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. In that case, the Nexus 7 is a much better tablet because it uses newer specs which makes it much faster and as said, it gets the newer version of Android faster.
