either one of these should protect your tab. the first covers the back and front. the second is the one i use on my tab. it doesn't cover the front but still works great. as to actually carrying the device. just like you would a paperback book or small notebook. you could also get a very small backpack or case.http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-Neoprene-Netbook-Tablet/dp/B0022052LI/ref=sr_1_63?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1356963560&sr=1-63&keywords=mini+backpack. if you go for something like the first one, be sure it will fit your model tab.
Should I go ahead and buy the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 now or will any other tablets be getting released soon?
Q. I am thinking of getting the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0" as my first tablet but I am sort of hesitant about going out and buying one right now in case there will be any new tablets getting released sometime this year. The samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0" looks like a good tablet for a good price which is why I want to buy it but I dont want to buy it if a better tablet will be coming out soon.
I made this mistake when I bought an Ipod touch. I bought the Ipod touch without the camera (the one that came out before the one with the camera came out), and then they released the newer ipod touch (the one with the camera) and I was upset cause if I would of just waited a little while longer I could of bought the new one instead.
I dont want to make this mistake when buying a tablet again.
Will there be anything better than the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0" coming out this year or should I just buy it?
A. Hi. Yes there is a new one.. Galaxy Tab 3 it was supposed to be released by june.. let us see a bit more and maybe they will release it this month or next. But it has merely any good differences.. Like now the front facing camera is 1.3MP instead of VGA, then the built-in OS would be 4.1 instead of 4.0 means no adobe flash support.
Nothing notable added.
So going for the Galaxy Tab 2 is pretty safe bet. As per gsmarena.. Even the camera quality stayed same.. I.e 3.15Mp at 720p.
I suggest you read this Review on galaxy tab 2, should help you out on this decision:

What tablet should I get? Galaxy Tab 2 or Nexus 7?
Q. So I have $200, and I want to get a tablet, because I've never had one and the new house we're moving into has wi-if. :)
So, at Walmart, they're having a sale on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Garnet Red Edition). I think it's 8 GB, but it's expandable to 32 GB. It also has a back camera, which I like. Also, if you buy, it ($219.99), you get a free $10 e-gift card. The reason why I'm considering this is because I like Samsung, and I LOVE that this one has a red color and it comes with a snap- on case.
BUT...
On all the reviews I've read, the Google Nexus 7 is better. Faster processor, and better screen. But I don't exactly like the look of it. :/ but I don't want to get the Samsung and then be disappointed because it might be slow??? Is it slow??? I also don't like the landscape-style that the nexus has. And that it doesn't have a back camera. And it's just plain black.
But despite all of this, should I pay the extra $50 and get the Nexus, or is the Samsung sufficient enough for me?
A. The nexus 7 is a better tablet, i tried the 10 inch version of the samsung which has similar specs and it was surprisingly slow. I recommend getting the nexus 7.
