Q. I want to get a tablet instead of my iPad 2 but idk which one. It has to be $500 and under and I'm going to mainly be using it for school (note taking) but also for games. I don't really want a small one like the iPad Mini.

I really think its currently the best 7.7 -8.0 inch tablet out there along with the S note stylus and the
inbuilt Polaris Office(similar to microsoft office) I will say its a great tablet for school or work
Design wise its as cool as the iPad mini. What's more ? Google play games are cheaper than the IOS apple app store

Owner of a samsung tablet a older model and it runs games like angry birds and air attack and nfl 2012 from gamloft very smoothly, the samsung 7.7 galaxy tab or as the one answer said the samsung 10.1 a great tablet , my rating of samsung tablets a 10*****, flash player support the last of it 11.0 , will be going to html 5 support this year
