Q. I am really trying to understand how to unlock the cell phones. I have a T Mobile galaxy s3 and am considering buying an AT&T galaxy s3 cell phone. I was curious if anyone knew which is more compatible for straighttalk such as better service coverage and so on. Does anyone know will an un blocked AT&T galaxy s3 work or would A Samsung T Mobile galaxy s3 be more compatible for straight talk usage. please help if anyone knows or has done this before I am in need of a phone expert thank you.

Q. I already have a straight talk phone and use it daily, I hate it. I am buying a samsung galaxy skyrocket on the at&t network and can't find a straight talk att sim anywhere. I was just wondering if I could take the sim from my phone I have with them already and put it in my galaxy and it work? I've heard yes and no but I want to know for sure.
A. No. The Straight Talk sim cards that come with the Straight Talk branded cell phones are "locked" to the phone that they are activated with. So they will only work with the phone that it was activated with.
If you live in an area that does not have T-Moblie and choose unlocked GSM sim card from the Straight Talk website, they will show you a AT&T sim card for your phone.
Straight Talk is trying to sell T-Mobile sim cards for their phones, because T-Mobile offers unlimited data. Straight Talk is no longer honoring unlimited data with AT&T sim cards. You will only be given 1.5GB of data per month with a AT&T brand Straight Talk sim card.
What is a good price for an unlocked galaxy s3?
