Q. Well I want a new phone but I cant afford the non contract price and I hate contracts so I don't want to get a contract. I saw the phone I wnated at Target with a 2 years contractit was 1/4 of th price of it without a contract. I was wondering if I could get the phone at contract price without having a perminate contract. It was a t-mboile phone by the way.
A. Virgin Mobile. This is a plan that ranges from $35 a month for unlimited texting and data to $55 a month for unlimited everything. The most expensive phone on the plan is the iPhone 4S for $449. They offer much cheaper, great quality phones like the Kyocera Rise for $99 and the HTC One V for $149. I have the HTC Evo V from that plan and I love it. It's on the $35 plan, which also gives me 350 calling minutes. It's a fantastic phone for $249. Other phones they offer are the iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy Reverb, and LG Optimus Elite. Although some of these phones aren't contract price, Virgin Mobile regularly has deals on these phones for 20% off, or $50 off, or things along the lines of that.
What does a bad ESN mean?
Q. I am trying to buy a Samsung Galaxy Reverb for Virgin mobile but the description says "Bad ESN Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy Reverb. New out the box can not be used on Virgin mobile due to bad ESN."
Is there anyway that I could get it to work for Virgin Mobile? All answers are helpful.
Thank you!
A. A cell phone can have a bad ESN/MEID/IMEI number for one of 3 reasons:
The phone was reported lost or stolen in the past.
The phone is still active on the owner's wireless carrier account.
There is money owed on the wireless carrier account to which the ESN/MEID/IMEI is connected.
Only the owner of the wireless account to which the phone was connected can clear an ESN/MEID/IMEI number.
LG Optimus Elite or Samsung Galaxy Reverb?
Q. I'm getting a new phone from Virgin Mobile today and I was wondering which phone is better? (quality wise)
Oh, and is Virgin Mobile a good service?
A. Galaxy wins knock out http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Samsung-Galaxy-Reverb,LG-Optimus-Elite/phones/7366,6998
And Virgin Service is o.k.
