Q. I Have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant and an HP Pavilion G6 computer and i just want to connect my phone to my computer to download my Itunes library onto it but the computer won't even acknowledge that my phone is connected. My phone says it's charging but that's it. Can anyone help me please?
What program do i use to connect the phone to the computer and download my ITunes library once i do that?
A. Actually the cable given with the phone can be used for charging and file transfer. Try downloading the drivers for it. Here is the link:

Just hit towards the middle of the page "Manuals and Downloads".
Also go to the settings and hit applications. Once you do that scroll all the way down and hit USB settings. After that hit "ask on connection". That is usually the best option. If that is already clicked then here is the link where you can chat with a samsung technician and maybe they can help.

A. No Samsung Glalaxy S Vibrant is for GSM carriers only. And Sprint is CDMA so it will not work it impossible. You can get the Samsung Galaxy S Finance from Verizon then flash it to Metro PCS for $40.00 Unlimted Everything Plan or put it on Cricket or Page Plus.
How to make data only work for picture texts?
Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant and i need to make it so everything works for wifi but only picture/video texts work for data, i dont have a data plan, dont plan on getting one, and i dont want the bill to go crazy when the data is used without me knowing it.
A. Sign into a wifi network and don't switch to 3G. Also download a free texting App from the Market (Textplus is the best it can send pics too!) I don't get how you have a smartphone with out a data plan? Unless you only have limited data?
