A. Yes, the SIII and mini use micro-sim's. You should be able to swap between the two assuming the mini is unlocked.

A. The s3 mini is a midrange device. It has average specs- 1ghz dual core processor, 1gb RAM 233ppi screen 5mp camera etc. Its maybe a but overpriced however it does offer somethings to make up for it if you count in NFC, Jelly Bean out of the box, microsd expandable to 32gb
etc.
However when you compare it to the s3 you see a big difference.
S3 has a 1.4 quad core processor with 1gb/ 2gb depending on where you live, 306ppi, 8mp camera, although there are some similarities, NFC, microsd (though the s3 can take a 64gb microsd) Jelly bean( s3 is
upgradeable to Jelly bean).there looks are the same however the mini had a 4inch screen versus the s3's 4.8 inch screen
