Q. I might get the Samsung galaxy s3 very soon. I wanted to get the opinions from people who have owned the GS3 for a long time now. Has it slowed down in any way? How's the battery life?

A. Hi from Italy ! I have and use SIII and Note for my heavy blogger activity and I'm very satisfied.
Slowed sometimes? No, I have it from a pair of mount and quad-core exynos at 1.3 GHz never give me problems (are Exynos at 1 GHz in Tab II 7 and Tab II 10.1 that sucks and are slowly).
My version is Vodafone branded (european vector company) and with branded app I have not found problems.
Fantastic 8mp camera, beautiful line, i give you a suggestion about accessories: no book cover because is "stupid": has no sense for a smartphone like this. Better a case that protect and is open in the back like Noreve products.
Battery life: with H+ yes it use energy: all day with BT on and data on for work in car, calls, ecc. in the evening it is 20-23% but with a normal use it can arrive at 1/1.5 days.
From last week Samsung has ufficialized a battery with a capacity of 3.000 mAh that are more than box battery for 30-35$ and it can high more battery life if you need.
Colors and memory size depends of your necessity: 16-32 or 64 gb and blue, white, black, red, ..
Why is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 irrelevant?
Q. I cannot find any nice cases for this phone! I love the Galaxy Note 2 but stores/websites act like it doesn't exist! I am sooo sick of hearing about the S3 and the iPhone 4 and 5. There are a few cheap cases here and there for the SGN2 but iPhone 4 and 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 have a much larger variety! Where can I find good cases? Is it because the phone is still fairly new?
A. I also have a Galaxy Note 2 and found it hard to find a case that I liked. The reason is simple... when the Galaxy Note came out.. it was the largest sized cell phone on the market. Most of the Universal cases sold at stores and mall kiosks don't carry anything that can fit the Note's larger size. However, relief is on the way. Since Samsung's been extremely successful with the Notes.. other manufacturers are coming out with 5-6" in models now... so that means the next generation of cases will be large enough for the Galaxy Note 2+.
As for my case, I checked Best Buy, Target and Staples and none of them had case for my phone. The tech guy at Staples told me they would get some larger cases for the Note 2 soon. I ordered a horizontal holster case from Newegg.com for $10. It wasn't what I wanted.. but it sure beat paying the $60 AT&T wanted to charge for the case they sold.

The first section details how to acquire a small piece of software called "iTunes Agent", that allows you to use your Galaxy S with iTunes on a Windows-based computer (we are assuming that you already have iTunes installed, and have an existing library of music).
Mac users can achieve the same results by installing a program called iTuneMyWalkman.
1. Download and install iTunes Agent
2. Once installed, the application runs in the system tray and monitors iTunes
3. Plug the Galaxy S into your computer's USB port and mount it
4. Create a folder on the mounted Galaxy S called Music
How to create a configuration for the Galaxy S in iTunes Agent's Preferences
1. Right-click on the iTunes Agent icon
2. Click Preferences
3. Leave all defaults checked and click the New button
4. Give the device a name (Galaxy S in this case)
5. Leave Synchronize pattern: set to iTunes
6. Click the Choose button and select the Music folder you created on the Galaxy S
7. Click the Create button and select the Music folder you created on the Galaxy S
8. Click Save and then Close
How to add music to your Galaxy S
1. Launch iTunes and you will see a playlist folder called My Devices, under which you will see the Galaxy S
2. Simply drag the music you wish to synchronise from your iTunes library to your Galaxy S into this playlist
3. Finally, right-click on the iTunes Agent icon in the system tray and select Synchronize devices
