A. Believe me, SAMSUNG GALAXY S II is a GREAT PHONE. It's the fastest phone ever.
ADVANTAGES:
1. Dual core processor
2. Android gingerbread, great operating system.
3. Great 8MP camera, with full hd recording & LED flash.
4. Super AMOLED plus 4.3 inch touch screen.
5. 8.49mm Slim Design.
And many more....
Whereas I phone has various disadvantages like :
1. You cannot transfer files over blutooth to othet devices.
2. Small size sim card is acceptable.
3. Video calls over wifi from iphone to iphone only.
4. No facebook inyegration.
5. No SD card support etc.
Though it has many unique features like Ultra high resolution Ratina display, great app store etc but samsung is best.

google nexus 4 (lacks memory card slot...huge drawback!)

A. if that's your budget...you should have no problem picking a phone. My preference galaxy s4. It has great touchwhiz and is great to show off :-). I am fully an android user and have never used an iphone *heard its been giving customers problems lately* so I personally would get an android of any type or the recent phone Samsung Galaxy s4. The phone company you go with will also impact the quality of how the phone responds to msgs and web surfing, GOOD LUCK!
