Q. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Reverb on Android ice cream sandwich and can't figure out how to use a gif as my wallpaper...
A. Android in general doesn't support gif animation by default. u need to install any gif viewer for that.
If u wish to use animated gif as a wallpaper, u can download ANIMGIF livewallpaper.apk; it's an app which allows u to set any animated gif as live wallpaper. u can also set more than one image like a slideshow. just search the app on Google Playstore or search on Google web; "download animgif livewallpaper.apk". u can get the free version or buy the paid one. After u installed the app, from ur homescreen press n hold screen then choose wallpaper, livewallpaper, animgif livewallpaper, make any configuration like choosing the animated gif image(s). note that u also need to download animated gif image(s) too according to ur desire.
How do I format my SD card without deleting pictures?
Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy Reverb phone. I recently got a SanDisk 14 GB memory card. It didn't ask for me to format it and now I have pictures saved that I don't want to lose (1238 of them!). It says formatting will delete all photos and videos.
A. Impossible if you don't want to completely format the card then you need to go into the phone and delete any app or item you downloaded that you don't want anymore one by one formatting will always wipe the card clean.
How can I get rid of Mobile ID off of my Virgin Mobile phone without rooting it?
Q. I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Reverb and I was very happy with it until I kept getting these annoying notifications saying I needed to download Mobile ID. Well, I did and now I regret it. It messed up the entire appearance of my phone. Now my phone lags too and sometimes touching the screen won't work and I'll have to restart my phone.
I normally use ADW launcher and if anyone knows how to get that back to that launcher, please instruct me on how. I'm currently using it still but when I press home it goes to the Mobile ID set appearance and I have to click on the ADW app to open it. That's also really annoying.
I've tried clearing all the data and allowances for Mobile ID, regular launcher and ADW launder, but it still goes back to Mobile ID.
Will doing a factory reset remove Mobile ID, by any chance?
Thanks for the help in advance.
A. Yes if you do a factory reset then yes it will return the phone like it was when you first bought it. All your personal information will be wiped out as well.
