Q. I have a galaxy s3. I bought the mhl hdtv cable for 30 bucks from best buy. I have a spare hdmi cable. You suppose to plug the hdtv adapter in your phone, connect your house charger into the adapter, and a hdmi cable coming from the tv to the end of the adapter and wala!.. What you see on the screen of the phone is suppose to show on the tv but it's not working for me. Maybe I need to change some settings around in my phone or something. I watched a you tube video on how to connect it and I did it right so do anybody know what I'm doing wrong or what step I am missing? Thanks in advanced. Once again, I have a samsung galaxy s3 and a vizio tv.. I have a samsung tv in the other room I havent tried this procedure on yet but in the mean time please help me
A. Hi, By USB/HDMI cable I assume you mean an MHL adaptor, if it`s not a specific galaxy S3 version then it won`t work. The Galaxy S3 uses 11 pin MHL, most adaptors are 5 pin.

A. unfortunately the Galaxy phones do not have an HDMI port so this projector will not connect to those phones. The micro HDMI adapter that comes with the projector looks a lot like the micro usb port on the phone but they do not match.
