Q. Okay so i have a samsung galaxy S2 and i have had for maybe 5 months and it recently started saying that its still charging when really it's not even connected to the charger like OMG! what's going on! Please help!! and also the worst part it that the battery drains like crazy!
A. Try pulling the battery, then put it back in and restart the phone. If that doesn't work, do a factory reset (your provider will help you if you don't know how). That should cure both problems. I think sometimes a conflict occurs in installed applications that causes a partial system crash, weird things like no sound from the speaker, but sound OK on the headphones, fast battery drain problems, GPS not updating position etc.
How can I charge my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket?
Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket but the charger port is broken. I need a way to charge my phone. Any ideas?
A. Battery charger rather that phone charger should do the trick. Youd have to remove the battery from phone and the charger will connect to the battery thus bypassing the damaged charging port on your phone. I've seen them before but never used one myself. Check a RadioShack in your area or online. Sorry that's all I can suggest. Good luck !!
Or just as a quick temporary solution to hold you over til you can figure something out you could find someone you know with a galaxy and charge you battery in their phone then just put it back in yours once its done charging.
How long is to long to leave your battery charging?
Q. So I had a question relating to cellphone batteries, pertaining on how to take care of them. So I've been told that now with phone batteries running on Lithium Ion batteries there are ways that one has to care for them. For example I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 I've been told to not over charge the phone otherwise it will expand the battery to the point where it kills the battery. My question is how long is over charging it.The reason I ask is because I fell asleep and left my phone plugged in the charger with 100% battery life for about an hour until I woke up and immediately unplugged the phone. Did I already kill the battery from that one hour over charge?
A. I've been told the opposite. With Lithium ion, the phone knows to trickle charge once it's charged. I leave mine on the charger overnight all the time. I've done that quite a while now, without any problems.
