And I ordered the ballistics sg MAXX. I take my phone cases off and on a lot and was wandering if anyone has had one or knows of anyone they can ask. I just want to know if the rubber or silicone part of the case gets stretched out easily after taking it on and off numerous times.

A. If you are looking forward for more portable device then I suggest you go for the phone.
But if you are looking for something to give pure entertainment then the 4" screen size with windows 8 OS would not be the option you should go for. In that case I would prefer the Galaxy tab 3.

IMO galaxy tab 3 would be the better option.
The Google play store has more apps and the variety simply makes it more entertaining. Other than that it is more fun to watch movies, play games, tv shows, surf net, YouTube and do other stuff on the bigger screen.
