Q. So I'm getting a new phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit from Metro PCS. I plan on getting it sometime next week. I really like the appearance but I don't know much about the phone itself. I'm upgrading from a basic phone I have from Metro PCS as well. What differences are there really in basic phones vs. smartphones such as apps and other features? Honestly, I don't know much about phones. I looked up reviews online, but I was wondering if anyone here has had this phone and what you thought about it. Although I'd like to hear pros and cons, mostly I'm looking for good qualities of the phone, since there's a 99% chance that I'll get it and I don't want to have second thoughts.

A. I would look at better phones, Samsung Exhibit II 4G only has a 3 mp camera and a small 3.7" screen.

Can I use a t-mobile sim card with a metro pcs phone?
Q. Now that metro PCs merged with t mobile will I be able to use T-Mobile sim card instead and not the metro sim card? I plan to buy the Samsung galaxy exhibit by metro.
A. Unknown. While MetroPCS phones (on T-Mob network) use SIMs, it's not known if they are T-mob sims or MetroPCS SIMs, or whether they are locked to MetroPCS sims.
I'd check with T-Mob.
