Q. Long story short, my phone, a Samsung Galaxy Precedent, got wet today and didn't let me unlock it since it is touch screen. About 2 1/2 hours later, I was able to unlock it, but it wouldn't respond to any of the lower features, like the call button. Plus I can't type to text anyone. I can call if I go through contacts, but I would like to be able to text and use my instagram and facebook apps, which are impossible to use without full use of the screen.
Does anyone know what I could do to fix it and be able to use my entire touch screen?
A. Take your phone apart and put all the separate pieces in a bag of rice and let it sit in there for 24 hours. That's always worked for me. If that happens to not work your phone is probably too damaged by the water and in most cases you'll have to pay for it to get fixed.

Q. So the Verizon galaxy is SCH-I535 and the at&t is the i9300 and the Verizon one is slightly bigger. SO when i look up Galaxy S3 case on ebay, Amazon, ect what is it for, and if it for the at&t where can i buy cases
A. There are a number of phones in the Samsung Galaxy family smartphones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S series and the Samsung Galaxy Prevail and the Samsung Galaxy Precedent.

My Straight talk phone?
Q. My straight talk phone, (galaxy) won't go on facebook...keeps saying Failure could this be my internet is just awful or something esle? :)
A. I hate to say it, but this is a clear case you getting what you pay for. The Samsung Galaxy Precedent for Straight Talk runs on Sprint's network which is not renown for it's speed, and prepaid services such as Virgin have more speed issues.
Being that Straight Talk is a foreign company (Mexico), your phone is of a lower priority for data, so there is a good possibility that your access speeds are too slow and the connection is timing out a lot, yielding your failure message.
There is nothing you can do to fix your data access on Straight Talk, other than going to another carrier.
