Q. I've been thinking about getting a smartphone for a while. However, I'm not too familiar with data plans. I am aware that unlimited data plans usually cost about $30/month, but I don't know how much 4G Lite plans cost per month. I'd prefer an unlimited data plan (since my cousin-in-law was saying that the whole 4G Lite plan is just a scam), but I want more information on the 4G Lite plans first. So, how much do 4G Lite smartphone plans cost per month? Are they worth it or should I get the unlimited data plan?
BQ: I'm thinking about getting either the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the HTC One. Which one do you think I should get and why? If neither, which phone should I get? I prefer to get an Android.
Thanks!
A. data plans, whether its capped/teired/unlimited, are aLLLLLLL 2G/3G/4G HSPA/4G LTE, depending on the tower output in your area and kind of phone you have.... there is noooooooooooooooooooooooo such thing as 2G data plans, 3G data plans, and 4G data plan........ this is 2010 urban legend and for some stupid idiotic reason, people still believe in it... and its been 3 freaking years!!! geesh....
a typcial Smartphone plan is about $90-$150/month (for 1 phone), depending on your voice plan, text plan, data plan, other wireless features, and area tax rates.... 4G HSPA is the scam... 4G LTE is real 4G.... your cousin in law needs to research more into wireless before making such a claim about the ITU definition change of a "G" back in 2010... simple google search, btw...
#2 - only Sprint and Tmboile have unlimited data plans... ATT and Verizon do not.... Then you have the prepaid plans on Virgin and Straight Talk... they are unlimited data too, but they throttle you have 5GB of data usage. (meaning they slow down your data speed to 3G, no more 4G)
lastly..... get the GS4..... HTC bloats down android so much with Sense UI that it becomes unbearable.
How can i download free movies on my samsung galaxy note?
Q. so i wanna have some movies and i dont know if there is anyway to download them through anything or anywhere. And i can't connect my phone to the pc i don't know why. Please help
A. You could get a torrent app and download your movies via torrents. Downloading movies will use a lot of bandwidth (700MB - 4GB / per movie) so make sure you use WiFi.
I use tTorrent ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.tagsoft.ttorrent.lite&hl=en )
Should I get a Nintendo 3DS, or a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, or Galaxy Mini 2?
Q. It's a matter of upgrading. I have a year-old Samsung Galaxy Y and a two-year-old DS Lite. Both work fine, except for scratches and whatnot.
Opinions please! Thanks!
