Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy Victory and it is sold through both Virgin Mobile and Sprint. I use VM, but my little sister uses Sprint. She likes my phone and wishes she had one like mine. If I upgrade my phone to a new one in the future, would I be able to reset the Samsung Victory phone and give it to my sister, since it is also sold through Sprint?
A. You would have to unlock the phone first and last I heard unlocking a phone to use on a different carrier is illegal now. Each phone is made to work with one carrier only when built. Only other thing I can suggest is look for a used Victory phone online that is on Sprint's network.
