A. Hey, buzzbuzz, first of all, kindle DX is a big failure that failed several universities' tests for college text books. Second, it's too big and slow and will probably be discontinued by Amazon soon.
You can change font size on all eReaders on the market but I'd recommend Nook or Nook Color from Barnes & Noble for anyone as Nook is the best combination of price and features of the eReaders market.
How do I make my Kindle show the real page numbers?
Q. I have a Kindle DX that I got in February, and I like it. But I hate not being able not to tell what page I am on. How do I make it show them?
A. The page number feature began with Kindle Software Update Version 3.1. Unfortunately, the Kindle DX is not capable of running Kindle Software Update Version 3.1 and so cannot show real page numbers.
For Kindle 3 owners, make sure you have the update:

Also, realize that the page display feature depends on the ebook:
"Not all Kindle books include page numbers. What are the Kindle Touch screensavers without the special offers?
Q. i had a kindle DX and the screensavers were old authors. i want to know if the kindle touch screensavers are the same. i dont want to pay extra for no 'secial offers' if they are going to be those same screensavers. Thanks!
