Q. My kindle w/ case was on the floor and was pissed on by my dog. It now smells of fish and urine in specific places. It has been cleaned with windex and a towel. Is there a specific method usable to get rid of the smell. The smell is on the back mainly. *The kindle had a case on it so it isn't damaged but the back of the case has a rancid smell in spots.
A. Vinegar will do the trick. Vinegar works because it will neutralize the odor. (Of course, you will then have to wash out the vinegar smell, but you can achieve that with a bit of dishsoap.)
Take the kindle out of the case. Spray the case with vinegar. Let it air dry. Then, fill up a sink with a squirt of Dawn dishsoap and a lot of water. Dunk the case in the sink, swirl it around a few times, set it on a towel and let it air dry there (or use a hair dryer to expedite the process).

Q. I was wondering if the normal Kindle Cases work for the Kindle Paperwhite? Because I'm going to be getting a Kindle Paperwhite and there aren't many cases to choose from for it.

A. It differs from case to case. Some cases can support more than one Kindle model, but it'll specifically specified in those cases. You shouldn't get the cases that haven't specifically mentioned to fit Kindle Paperwhite.
Here are the sizes of the Kindles, there's some difference so only some cases will fit both:
Kindle Paperwhite: 6.7" x 4.6" x 0.36"
Kindle: 6.5" x 4.5" x 0.34"

A. You should get the "Kindle Lighted Leather Cover" as it comes with the light too and is very tough to get your Kindle keyboard in trouble...
