Q. I have been sent out with a huge shopping list and one of the things on it is windows mobile phones. I guess windows mobile phones means that it should have a windows operating system.
Im not a very high tech person so dont know where to look for windows mobile phones or which company makes windows mobile phones.
The windows mobile phones that you find should max cost 500$ as I believe that is a fair price.
So what windows mobile phones would you recommend and why?

A. For what you require I would suggest the HTC HD7 (check link below). This phone has a windows 7 in it with 1ghz processer and that is pretty impressive if you ask me.
It has a beautifull large screen with some very nice colors. The touch screen is way better than iphones in my opinion and it has so many great functions. You simply cant go wrong with it. And it is within your budget ;)

A. It depends if you want a QWERTY Keyboard or not. I just sold my HTC XV6800 (Terrible phone) It was really weak and it cracked when i dropped it once during the first week.
Personally i'd go with a Samsung smartphone. Either the Samsung Omnia or i760. They both have Windows Mobile.
My buddy has an i760 it's pretty durable and a reliable phone with a ful hardware slide-out Qwerty keypad.
I'm looking to get the Omnia if I can which has a much better battery life and 5 MP camera. It is touch screen only as far as keypad goes but it is much slimmer and sleeker.
I'm just trying to figure out if i can get it w/out buying a data plan >.<
Can an unlocked blackjack be upgraded to windows mobile 6?

A. Yes you can. Flashing the ROM on a phone will not affect the sim unlock on Windows Mobile Phones. Hope that answers your question.
