Q. How do you recover a password on a Samsung Galaxy S4 without doing a hard reset? Recently, I haven't been doing much with my phone, but somehow, my password to unlock my phone got changed.. I didn't change it at all! It's the 4-numbers password, and I've decided not to do a hard reset since I don't remember a lot of my contacts. Is there any way to retrieve it without doing a hard reset?

Q. I currently have a crappy phone with metro pcs with the plan of 4 lines for $100, and i would like to upgrade my phone so a Samsung Galaxy S3, but not pay an outrageous phone bill. My understanding from what friends have told me, is that i buy a regular S3 from lets say sprint, pay some company $40 to unlock to metro, and somehow the S3 that previous worked for sprint, now works for metro and i pay the exact same amount of what i pay, as i would have with my original phone, as long as Metro never finds out that i have a smartphone instead of my old phone.
If someone could please confrim/educate me on the subject, and how to actually go about doing the process of unlocking the phone (not the how to change the program, but i mean how to activate it and stuff)

A. Unlocked phones work the same as locked ones, except they don't have 1 carrier restrictions
