Q. Ok I already have a samsung galaxy phone that has 4G mobile hotspot and since the wifi in my home isnt set up yet I've been connected to my phones wifi from my ipod. Here are the questions though. If I get an iphone from Sprint and were to use my samsung galaxys wifi on the iphone (lets say 99.9% of the time) will that save me money or are there like data usage fees for using wifi? And what about calling people while using this 4G mobile wifi...is that possible or do you only have to use mobile data? I plan on getting the 80 dollars a month unlimited plan with Sprint by the way. If you have any tips and how to decrease the use of data on an iphone or what have you (if its the same with other phones) feel free to let me know. Thank you. :)
A. No. Wifi is not charged for since that has nothing to do with Sprint.

A. Not just on a Samsung Galaxy 1900, but on any wifi enabled smart phone.
IT WILL NOT USE wifi automatically over a paid internet.
usually there is a option stating "use roaming data service when internet is not available"
you should disable it this will force your smartphone to use the wifi rather than the paid internet.
you can find it in wireless settings normally
