A. Accroding to the reviews its good. Auto wake and sleep works like it should... device turns on when you open the case while turns off when you close the case.

Is the Nook Glowlight or Kindle Paperwhite better for renting library books?
Q. I am thinking about buying my parents an e-reader for Christmas. The only thing that is holding me back is that they will not use it unless they can rent books from libraries.
Is the Nook Glowlight or the Kindle Paperwhite better/easiest for renting library books?

A. Hi there. Actually you need to confirm with your library on whether if they even provide this option. Both devices can do the job for you but you'll have to confirm first.
Other than this fact both devices are really good at what they do but being the more famous one I do prefer the Kindle. And its famous because of the extra amount of features it offers.

IMO Kindle Paperwhite would be the better option since its the famous one and gives more awesome features like Amazon prime, Xray for books etc making it a good contender.

What notebook, tablet or laptop will let me store files on it and transfer them later to a Kindle Paperwhite?
Q. I need a device that will interface between an SD card and a Kindle Paperwhite. I wasted $249 buying a Samsung Chromebook, only to find out afterward that you can't save files on its internal hard drive or copy files from that drive to either an SD card or a Kindle. I don't want to make that kind of mistake again. It gets expensive.
So does anyone know of a battery-powered (portable) computer that can read SDHC cards and copy their files to its internal disk drive or flash memory, and then upload those files from there to a Kindle Paperwhite?
A. I think you can. You have SD card slot on your Chromebook, and you can read/write the SD card with your Chromebook right? Just plug the Kindle to your chromebook with a USB cable, then you should be able to do the transfer. See here for details:
