Q. I have an account and everything, yet I'm not sure what happens after I put up something I want to sell online. To be specific, I have a 32G iPod 5 I want to sell (Around $260- Has no cracks or scratches due to my awesome case and screen protector...) And I want to buy the Samsung Galaxy S4 for it. Anyway, how does ebay work? Would you think I would get any bidders? It is used, yet I only used it for about 8 months and it is in perfect condition.
So, how does the whole thing work out for someone to bid on it? Thanks!
A. Getting bidders depends on how well you advertise your ipod 5, If you want 260 for it you need to put it as a auction with buy it now of 260 and a reserve of the same amount otherwise if no reserve put in then the first bid will take the buy it now away and you could be stuck with it going for half the amount you want. If you don't have 100 feedback then if you do sell it paypal can hold the funds for 21 days or until the buyer leaves positive feedback. Also make sure you have either a credit card or bank account attached to your ebay account otherwise you won't be able to list the item, you could get a free listing, but if sold you have to pay final fees. Another thing the buy it now has to be no less than 30% of the starting price. Buyers now have 2 days to pay before they are sent a non-paying not by ebay. 4 days later if buyer does not pay the seller will get their final fees back, after this they can relist the item.
Can someone help me decide if I should get the iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy s4?
Q. Well, its a kind of hard decision... I'm leaning more on the Samsung Galaxy, but the only problem with me is I'm not so sure how much its going to be. I can afford a 36 GB iPhone ($400) but, I feel like the Galaxy s4 will be more? It still hasn't come out and people say that for my service carrier (Verizon) it should come out May 30th. Anyway, does anyone have any opinions? What does the S4 have that is so good and what does the iPhone 5 have that is so good? Thanks!
A. I have an iPhone 5 for work and an HTC EVO3D for a personal phone. Both are good, but I like the Android OS better. If you sign into your Gmail account before you set up your phone, it automatically backs everything up. The iPhone cloud attempts do do that too, but not as well.
Seriously, put all of your contacts and calendar into Gmail and it will automatically load into your Android phone or tablet.
In any event, get an Otter box Defender case. Keep the phone really safe.
Why is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 irrelevant?
Q. I cannot find any nice cases for this phone! I love the Galaxy Note 2 but stores/websites act like it doesn't exist! I am sooo sick of hearing about the S3 and the iPhone 4 and 5. There are a few cheap cases here and there for the SGN2 but iPhone 4 and 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 have a much larger variety! Where can I find good cases? Is it because the phone is still fairly new?
A. I also have a Galaxy Note 2 and found it hard to find a case that I liked. The reason is simple... when the Galaxy Note came out.. it was the largest sized cell phone on the market. Most of the Universal cases sold at stores and mall kiosks don't carry anything that can fit the Note's larger size. However, relief is on the way. Since Samsung's been extremely successful with the Notes.. other manufacturers are coming out with 5-6" in models now... so that means the next generation of cases will be large enough for the Galaxy Note 2+.
As for my case, I checked Best Buy, Target and Staples and none of them had case for my phone. The tech guy at Staples told me they would get some larger cases for the Note 2 soon. I ordered a horizontal holster case from Newegg.com for $10. It wasn't what I wanted.. but it sure beat paying the $60 AT&T wanted to charge for the case they sold.
