Q. Actually i thing the only difference is the size .please help me get more detailed info about that example if there are hardware differences or is just the size??
A. The area's where they differ greatly OTHER THAN SIZE are Weight, Thickness, Processor, ROM, micro-SD slot, Battery and Cellular Capacity.
Bellow is a summary of the differences...I am holding out for the 7.7 after owning the original tab for the past two years....
The 7.7 wins on Weight, Thickness, Processor, and Display pixels per inch.
Specs are;
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Weight 345g
Thickness 9.96mm [The thickest]
1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor
1GB (RAM) with a choice of 16 or 32GB (ROM) - [No 64GB version]
Has a micro-SD slot (up to 32GB)
7.0" (1024x600 WSVGA @ 170 197 pixels per inch)
Battery 4000mAh battery
Cellular HSPA +21 900/1900/2100 [Does not do 850 which is important for Telstra users in Australia]
Galaxy Tab 7.7
Weight 340g [The lightest of the three]
Thickness 7.89mm [The thinnest]
1.4GHz dual-core processor [The fastest of the three]
1GB (RAM) with a choice of 16, 32 or 64 GB (ROM)
Has a micro-SD slot (up to 32GB)
7.7" SUPER AMOLED Plus (1280 x 800 WXGA @ 197 pixels per inch) [Highest pixels per inch]
Battery 5,100mAh battery (Video 10 hours, Music 50 hours)
Cellular HSPA +21 850/900/1900/2100
Galaxy Tab 10.1
Weight 565g
Thickness 8.6mm
1 Ghz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor [Believe or not, but the slowest of the three]
1GB (RAM) with a choice of 16, 32 or 64 GB (ROM)
NO micro-SD slot [Which means what you buy ROM wise is what you get i.e. can not increase memory]
10.1" widescreen (1280 x 800 WXGA @ 149 pixels per inch)
Battery 7000mAh (Video 9 hours, Music 72 hours)
Cellular HSPA +21 850/900/1900/2100
Is the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7.0 Plus one of the most modern tablets available?
Q. What about after it runs Android Ice Cream Sandwitch 4.0 OS?
What is the most modern and best preforming tablet of this day? Why?
A. No, the tablet world is very fast moving. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has been out since Oct and is only a dual core machine. Check out the ASUS Transformer Prime, a quad-core machine just out this month that builds on the highly successful ASUS Transformer for what would be more deserving of the label "most modern and best preforming tablet of this day."
Will the Samsung Galaxy S Plus get the ICS update?
Q. Well, the title explains everything: Will the Samsung Galaxy S Plus get the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Android? Tell me everything you know. Thanks! :D
(best answer gets 10 points)
A. I think not.
This is the official news from Samsung:
The ICS-upgradable devices are the GALAXY S II, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Note, GALAXY R, GALAXY Tab 10.1, GALAXY Tab 8.9, GALAXY Tab 7.7, and GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus.
I don't see the Galaxy S Plus in this list.
