Q. I have an iPad 2 charger and there is a part of it that it turns into to pieces. Not where the USB is but where it actually is plugged in.
A. It comes apart so that they can use the same USB cable and the same part the USB cable plugs into, but switch the Plug part to vary from country to country. Each country has a different set of metal plugs in different arrangements, but the same USB cables and iPads.
Makes producing them much more effective.

Q. I always bring my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with me on vacations, and I don't see the point in bringing both chargers. The iPhone charger takes too long to charge the iPad, but what about using the iPad's charger on the iPhone? I know that it's a higher wattage, but will it ruin the iPhone if I use the higher wattage charger to charge it?
